How Does Sanita Health Group’s Digital Laboratory Work?
Patient measurements received from the clinic are obtained using fully personalized digital impression techniques. As a result, all laboratory processes are carried out digitally.
Intraoral digital scans are converted into physical models using 3D printing technology. Planned dental restorations are combined with patient photographs in a specialized digital smile design software, allowing for a fully customized design.
A 3D-printed prototype of the design is produced and tested in the patient’s mouth. At this stage, the dental technician who created the design is able to evaluate the restoration live at chairside. Any necessary adjustments are made through a collaborative consultation between the dentist, patient, and technician.
For the final restoration, computer-aided CAD/CAM systems are used to ensure precision and high-quality results.
